The Lagos State Fire Service Director Rasaq Fadipe, has confirmed that there was a fire incident initiated by unknown gunmen Lagos, he said the incident occurred at about 2a.m. He said the raging fire from the persons set ablaze also escalated and burnt a large section of the hotel.“At about 2 a.m on Sunday we got a call from the police, inviting us to respond to a fire incident at 04 Hotel in Ajah.
A lagos based socialite and owner of 04 Hotel in Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos State, Olanrewaju Subair, popularly known as Loore was killed yesterday morning by unknown gunmen within his hotel premises.
Report has Some unknown gunmen had stormed the hotel and had shot dead the owner, his wife and set the two other male occupants ablaze.
Though the fire was averted on time according to him “But my men arrived at the scene quickly enough to stop the fire from spreading to the other parts of the hotel, thereby preventing further damage. “It was indeed an unfortunate incident,” he added.
Investigation about the cause of the sad tragedy is on-going.
