PHONE CALL WHILST PHONE CHARGES KILLS GIRL-CHINA

CHINA-  A Chinese girl is reported dead following an electrocution  that happened whilst answering a  phone call.
Relatives of a 23-year-old woman from northwest China have claimed that she died after being electrocuted while using her iPhone.

The elder sister of victim, Ailun, said on Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, that Ma was electrocuted while trying to answer a call on her iPhone while the device was charging, I also hope that you all refrain from using their mobile devices while charging Xinhua reported.

However, the Technology giant Apple has launched an investigation into the death of the Chinese woman killed by an electric shock she reportedly suffered from answering a call while her iPhone 5 was charging.
Twenty-three-year-old Ma Ailun, who lived in China's western Xinjiang region, died last Thursday, according to the Xinhua news agency (via Reuters).
Apple said in a statement that it was saddened to learn of the event and will look further into the matter.
"We are deeply saddened to learn of this tragic incident and offer our condolences to the Ma family. We will fully investigate and cooperate with authorities in this matter," Apple said to Reuters.
"Experts" told Xinhua that mobile phones have an output of only 3-5 volts, not enough to physically harm the human body. It is unclear, then, what caused the accident.

Further investigation would affirm that almost all the incidences with exploding batteries happens to be with cheap replacement batteries and I expect nothing else than an unofficial charger, because the official is properly isolated and fused, therefore impossible for such an incident.

Ma is not the first young man who died while using the phone. Last year, one died Moscow 25 years on the street to answer a call. But in this case the fault was lightning was attracted by the electronic device, the researchers Russians.Cell phones are a very useful modern invention. However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death.

But it could be worst if it happens in Nigeria considering our epileptic power output and the unstable voltage released  sometimes.

Counterfeit phone batteries are a serious problem for the mobile industry not just iphone. Recent media reports allege that two people in Vietnam have been burned from separate mobile phone battery explosions within days of each other. A man was playing billiards when he felt heat in his pocket where his mobile was heating up. He found the mobile phone battery smouldering.

A woman in Ho Chi Minh City was earlier injured when her mobile exploded at breakfast. She was hospitalised with burns. A counterfeit battery was thought to be the fault. The incidents in Vietnam follow two similar accidents in the Netherlands. In all of these incidents the batteries were counterfeit.

All counterfeit and some third party manufactured batteries do not meet all of the safety requirements that are necessary to ensure consumer safety.

The conference included illustrations on how consumers can recognize the most obvious examples of counterfeit batteries. These examples are available on the Nokia website.
